Faye Maguire MA, LAC, CAT

I am a licensed psychotherapist serving the greater Denver, CO community, offering therapy and counseling.

I received my Master’s from Regis University and have experience in community mental health as well as private practice. I am a Certified Archetypal Therapist as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor; I work with addictions, grief and loss, life transitions, aging, trauma, spirituality, depression and anxiety, and using transpersonal tools to help you find your inner compass. I work with people of all backgrounds, ages, genders, and experiences to help you use practical tools to address whatever challenge is presenting itself now in your life.

The practice of psychology entered my life after I had been running a small business and raising my children. I was a co-owner at Paris on the Platte, a coffeehouse, bookstore, and wine bar in Denver. The space had remained open for almost 30 years and was a sanctuary for the alternative scene.

Running Paris on the Platte led me to meet people from all walks of life and to hear many stories of struggle and success. I realized I wanted to continue in service to others, and in a more therapeutic way.

Ultimately, I began studying psychology as many do: looking for answers to my own questions about life and relationships. After getting my MA in psychology with an emphasis in Jungian studies, I have been working directly with clients since 2004 and have worked in community mental health since 2014.
